Buy Real Art, Make Real Art at The ARTgarage

ARTGarage in Green Bay

For almost ten years, The ARTgarage in Green Bay has been a place where artists and art lovers go to be inspired.

If you’ve never stepped foot inside the 100 year-old former cannery turned art gallery and studio, you might be pleasantly surprised to find out about all the things that happen there.

Local and regional artists display and sell their original artwork, children and adults get their hands dirty in a wide array of workshops, and fans of the performing arts soak up live music.

The ARTgarage is passionate about promoting real art. They encourage patrons to “Buy Real Art, Make Real Art” in an effort to promote the support of local art and artisans. Supporting the local artist community is a sure-fire way to ensure the arts continue to flourish in Northeast Wisconsin.

Why is this important? According to the Arts Business Institute, artists “step in to provide seeds of revitalization, and make a huge difference in the perception of residents and visitors.” In other words, art can add new life to a city, which can be enjoyed by anyone and everyone who passes through.
